American and European nationals traveling to Azerbaijan for business or pleasure must obtain an e-Visa to enter the country.

Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa for visits of up to 90 days:

• Türkiye
• Kazakhstan
• Uzbekistan
• Ukraine
• Qatar (30 days)
• UAE

Process & Timeline:

• Standard e-Visas are generally issued within 3 working days 
• Urgent e-Visas are processed within 3 hours, regardless of holidays and non-working days

All applicants will receive an email informing them of the outcome of their application. In the event that this email is not received, applicants are encouraged to verify their application status at www.evisa.gov.az/en/check-status to remain informed.
