Additional Information

 

Dates and Times:

 Since this is a hybrid model, our goal is to have two in-person meetings and the rest of the trainings in a virtual setting. We will be having the in-person meetings on April 26+27 and July 26+27. We hope that this will not be too much of an inconvenience with the additional lead time. If anything is to change based on health and safety conditions, we will notify you as soon as that information becomes available.  If for any reason you are unable to join us in-person, please let us know as soon as possible. 

  • Meeting 1: March 28 (Virtual) – 1 to 4 pm ET (orientation)
  • Meeting 2: April 26 + 27 (In-person) – Day 1 is 11 am to 5:30 pm; Day 2 is 8 am to 3 pm (Strategy 1)
  • Meeting 3: June 7 + 8 (Virtual) – Day 1 is 11 am to 3 pm and Day 2: 11 am to 4:30 pm ET (Strategies 2-4)
  • Meeting 4: July 26 + 27 (In-person) – Day 1 is 11 am to 5:30 pm; Day 2 is 8 am to 3 pm (Strategies 5-6) | and presentation

 

Locations:

  • In-person meetings will be at Lansing Community College West Campus, located at 5708 Cornerstone Dr, Lansing, MI 48917. 
  • A reception dinner will be hosted on April 26th at 5:30pm for the cohort at LCC West. 
  • Virtual: Zoom link provided 

 

Covered Meals:

  • On the first day of each in-person meeting, we will provide lunch. On the second day, we will provide breakfast and lunch. Drinks are provided throughout both days (water, coffee, soda, tea).

  • Rooms are blocked at both Hampton Inn & Suites Lansing West and Crowne Plaza Lansing West

Dress Code:

  • Business Casual is the preferred dress attire, but please dress comfortably. 

 

 

Communication

 

TPM NLN Slack Channel

  • Slack will be your communication hub for all resources. Set up your Slack account in the TPM NLN Slack channel.  All members of the TPM NLN are also added to our TPM NLN Slack Workspace. You should have received an email from slack with an invitation to join. You will have two default channels, “tpmnln-all” and “cohortxx-career-readiness”. This is where we will post updates, resources and other pertinent information to the NLN and your cohort. Any resources or recordings from our academy meetings can be accessed on the cohort Slack channel. For more information on how to use Slack please visit the help center.
