Thai AI Mission 2026

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Southeast Asia Program invites member companies to join our Thailand AI Mission 2026, taking place alongside the Thailand-U.S. Trade and Investment Summit 2026 co-organized by AmCham Thailand, Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the US Chamber of Commerce.

This mission comes at a pivotal moment as Thailand accelerates implementation of its National AI Strategy and Action Plan (2022-2027), a government-wide effort to build a comprehensive AI ecosystem spanning digital infrastructure, talent development, innovation, and large-scale adoption across industry and public services. The strategy, approved by the Cabinet in July 2022, sets a clear national direction to leverage AI for economic growth and improved quality of life, while advancing governance frameworks and expanding deployment across 10 priority sectors such as digital trade, food and agriculture, energy, creative economy, manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics.

The Thailand AI Mission 2026 offers U.S. companies a timely opportunity to engage directly with this national transformation and position U.S. firms as partners in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing digital economies. Mission participation will give companies access to senior Thai government counterparts, industry leaders, and emerging innovation ecosystems, while providing a platform to explore partnerships, investment opportunities, and policy dialogue tied to Thailand’s evolving AI landscape.

This mission is open to companies across all industries. The selection of priority AI issues and target ministries and agencies will be guided by member input and sectoral representation.

The delegation will seek meetings with (but not limited to):

  • Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES)

  • Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI)
  • Ministry of Industry
  • Ministry of Commerce
  • Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA)

  • National Science and Technology Agency (NSTDA)

  • AmCham Thailand & Thai Chamber of Commerce

  • US Embassy Bangkok

Members of the Southeast Asia Program may participate at $1,000. For other interested companies, the participation fee is $2,500.

Each company may be represented by up to two participants, and we highly encourage participation from both Washington, DC-based representatives and those based at regional headquarters outside Thailand.
